Not fixed automatically artifact
Content is neither marked as Artifact nor tagged as real content
veraPDF rule 7.1-3 = ISO 14289-1:2014 clause 7.1, test 3, checked on PDF object SESimpleContentItem.
In Adobe Acrobat’s Accessibility Checker the closest item is “Tagged content”.
Content shall be marked as Artifact or tagged as real content
Every piece of page content must be either tagged or marked as an artifact (headers, footers, decorations). This is fixed by tagging the document — export as tagged PDF, or use a PDF editor's reading-order / content tools.
Upload the PDF: veraPDF lists every failed PDF/UA-1 rule, our fix runs, and veraPDF checks the fixed file again — you see “N failed rules before → M after” before deciding. The fixed file costs 19 € (excl. VAT); the check is free. We never call a file “accessible” or “compliant”.
