PDF/UA-1 rule 7.4.4-1: A node contains more than one H tag
Not fixed automaticallystructure, heading
What veraPDF reports
A node contains more than one H tag
veraPDF rule 7.4.4-1 = ISO 14289-1:2014 clause 7.4.4, test 1, checked on PDF object PDStructElem.
What the requirement says
Each node in the tag tree shall contain at most one child H tag
Can it be fixed automatically?
Not fixed automatically. This failure needs the authoring tool or manual remediation; the automatic fix does not change it.
How to fix it by hand
Heading tags come from heading styles in the source document (Heading 1, Heading 2 … without skipping levels); correct the tag tree if the export mixed H and H1–H6.
